The Palau island in Oceania reported its first confirmed Covid-19 case today. The tiny island state of 21,000 has so far managed to avoid Covid-19 after closing the borders of the region in the pandemic. It was considered as the Covid-19 virus free country till present day. The Country is hugely dependent on the tourism economy. The health Minister of Palau said that the Covid-19 patient is a traveler who came to Palau this Month by taking Covid-19 test. The person was under quarantine in the island by taking all the safety measures as there is no panic among the people after the virus outbreak.
