A biopic has been announced by Mahesh Manjrekar on the 138th birth anniversary of freedom fighter Vinayak Damodar Savarkar. Mahesh Manjrekar will be directing the film based on the life of activist and politician Veer Savarkar. The first poster of the film was released today. The Biopic has been titled SwatantraVeer Savarkar. Sandeep Singh and Amit B Wadhwani will be co-producing the film and also Mahesh Manjrekar is the co-writer of the film. was an Indian independence activist and a famous politician who assassinated Mahatma Gandhi in 1948.
