Tamil Nadu extended an existing COVID-19 lockdown in the state till June 7, 2021 due the positive Covid-19 cases in the second wave of the Pandemic and also due to the slowdown of Coronavirus vaccination . The earlier period of restrictions was to end on May 31. MK Stalin extended the lockdown as he wasn’t satisfied with the results of daily Covid-19 patients in the state . The home deliveries are allowed in the Tamil Nadu State between 7 am and 6 pm. Chief Minister MK Stalin announced the supply of free kit essential grocery containing 13 provision to every rice ration cardholder from the Ration Shops for the upcoming month June.
