Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal extended the lockdown till May 17, 2021 to control the spread of Covid-19 in the second wave in Delhi. The total number of positive Covid-19 cases in Delhi is 13,10,231 with 87907 active cases and fatalities of 19071 till May 9 2021. The shortage of Oxygen cylinders to the positive Covid-19 patients broke the systematic health system in Delhi with a large number of deaths. The test positivity rate of Covid-19 has also decreased from 35 percent to 23 percent in Delhi.
